Avnei Chefetz
Religious communal settlement. Founded 1990 (by a group of Hesder yeshiva students in Karnei Shomron). Numbers about 200 national religious families. Located on the Tul Karem-Shechem highway (on the outskirts of Tul Karem, near the village of Shofeh). Mother cities – Kfar Saba and Netanya (most of the settlement’s residents work in or around these cities). The town is built on Administration of Abandoned Property lands, owned by the Land Redemption Fund.
